Borussia Dortmund forward Jacob Bruun Larsen, 19, is set to join VfB Stuttgart – where he hopes to gain match practice in a team managed by former youth coach Hannes Wolf – until the end of the season. The loan agreement between the two clubs will expire on 30 June 2018.

The Dane joined Borussia Dortmund in January 2015, becoming an U17 German champion that same year and winning the U19 title in the two seasons that followed. He made his first-team debut in a DFB Cup second round tie against Union Berlin on 26 October 2016. Since the summer of 2017, Jacob Bruun Larsen has been part of the Bundesliga squad, featuring for the first time in the 3-0 away victory over Hamburg on Matchday 5.

"Jacob is a huge talent, but he needs match practice. Having conducted lengthy discussions with him and Hannes Wolf, we believe Stuttgart is the best place for him to be over the coming six months," said Sporting Director Michael Zorc.
