Sunday's Bundesliga clash in Mönchengladbach (kick-off 18:00 CET) will be the third of five Borussia Dortmund games in 17 days. But there are no major plans for rotation, according to head coach Peter Stöger.

Having racked up three successive victories, scoring eight goals in the process, the Austrian "ideally" wants "to leave the team largely as it is, perhaps giving one or two players the chance to get some minutes under their belt".

Fortunately, the Black & Yellows came through their intense Europa League victory over Atalanta without sustaining any major injuries: "It's clear they're tired. But I've heard nothing negative," reported Stöger the following day.

It remains unclear whether Marcel Schmelzer will return to the squad. "We came to the agreement that we'll make a late decision as to whether it makes sense after the final training session on Saturday," Stöger explained. "He doesn't have any major problems but he doesn't feel great yet." Shinji Kagawa (ankle injury) continues to be unavailable. (br)
