Peter Stöger did not mince his words as he criticised his team's performance in the 6-0 defeat at FC Bayern Munich during his post-match press conference.

Peter Stöger on the match and the margin of defeat:
The result and the margin of defeat are completely fair. We saw a team that was ready, that exploited our mistakes, that went into the tackles and that posed a threat in order to win this match. Those are things that I didn't see from my team. It was a jittery performance, with little consistency – in defence as well. I think we benefited from the fact that Bayern have an important game next week. In the second half they dropped off a tad.

...on the Champions League prospects:
Given how we played, it can't come as a surprise that we lost the match. We've picked up some relatively good results in the past few weeks and are in the running for a Champions League spot. But I have always said that it'll be a race until the end. It's going to be tight. We still have our fate in our own hands, and I assume that we will not play like we did today in every match. (br)
