Sunday streak! Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in 17 Sunday matches in the Bundesliga (14 victories and three draws). The last defeat on a Sunday came in October 2015, while BVB haven't tasted defeat at home on a Sunday since August 2010.

Home run: Borussia Dortmund remain unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga since Peter Stöger's arrival. The last three matches at Signal Iduna Park have all ended in victory.

Historic: Michy Batshuayi has scored seven Bundesliga goals in his first nine games, becoming the first BVB player to reach that mark so quickly since Manfred Burgsmüller did so in nine games in the 1976/77 season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not reach seven goals until his 11th game. The Belgian now has almost as many scorer points (eight) as Bundesliga appearances (nine).

On the mark: Maximilian Philipp scored for the first time since his long injury layoff. His last goal also came against the Swabians, in the 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in Stuttgart.

Provider: Despite making few appearances this season, Nuri Sahin has now set up five goals – the most assists he has claimed in a season since 2010/11. It was his first start in a match since the 2-2 draw with Freiburg on Matchday 20, at the end of January.

Personal record: Christian Pulisic is currently enjoying his most prolific campaign to date, having scored his fourth goal of the season – and first since the winter break – today.

Safe hands: Roman Bürki did not have a shot to save for the full 90 minutes, while his opposite number Ron-Robert Zieler made four saves on top of conceding three goals. (br)
