Champions League participants Borussia Dortmund have agreed a long-term contract for the versatile attacking midfielder Marius Wolf, who has penned a five-year contract that will keep him with the eight-time German champions until 30 June 2023.

Wolf, whose six goals and 11 assists in 34 appearances across all competitions in the season just gone made him one of the brightest newcomers last term, joins BVB from DFB Cup winners Eintracht Frankfurt. Sporting Director Michael Zorc said the following of the 23-year-old's signing: "Marius Wolf is a very promising player with great potential. The combination of his footballing quality and his excellent mentality makes him into a perfect player for Borussia Dortmund."

Marius Wolf is looking forward to the challenge awaiting him in Dortmund: "I'm very pleased to get an opportunity to develop further at such a big club. My aim is to be successful with Dortmund in the coming years and ideally, at the same time, to win a few titles."

Marius Wolf will join up with his new team at the start of July as they begin preparations for the 2018/19 season.
