The summer training camp in the Swiss municipality of Bad Ragaz has long since been an integral part of Borussia Dortmund's pre-season preparations. The Black & Yellows have trained in the canton of St. Gallen every year since 2011 and are now preparing for their eighth visit.

The groundsman has put in a lot of hours over the past days and weeks to get the "Ri Au" training pitch directly behind the Rhine dam into perfect condition for the BVB first team's arrival. The training camp, which is organised by the former BVB player Wolfgang Vöge, consistently fulfils the expectations of the officials and players.

The team will be flying from Dortmund to St. Gallen on Wednesday, with their first open training session scheduled for 16:30 CET that day. There will also be two friendlies during the training camp: against Rennes in Altach (Austria) on Friday 3 August (19:30 CET) and against Napoli in St. Gallen on Tuesday 7 August. (br)
