While Marius Wolf was happy about "scoring in our own stadium", the other goal scorer, Abdou Diallo, confirmed: "We practised it in training." And Roman Bürki will "travel to Brügge feeling good". Here we bring you the initial reactions to the home win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Marcel Schmelzer: "None of the three Bundesliga matches so far this season have been easy. It's not going as well as we would like. Nobody is allowing themselves to be blinded by the clear win over Leipzig. It will take time. You can see that we have a new football concept and that we will be able to implement it in phases."

Abdou Diallo: "We practised it in training: I go to the back post for corners. After the goal I saw all the fans. It was fantastic. Frankfurt are a good team, they won the cup, and are playing in the Europa League. It was important to win."

Marius Wolf: "Personally I'm really happy to have scored in our own stadium, and of course I'm happy that we won. We knew that it would be a hard game. The team had a lot of possession. The goal we conceded was extremely unfortunate. We kept going afterwards though, and ultimately we got a deserved win. It's important that we keep working from week to week."

Roman Bürki: "It was difficult for us to create chances. We moved the ball from one side to the other too slowly during our build-up play. But ultimately it was a good match. We quickly got ourselves back on track after conceding and then took the lead again deservedly. Our attacking plays must be played out with more conviction in future. We travel to Brügge feeling good."

Lucien Favre: "We must control the ball better when placed under pressure. The first half was OK, but we didn't do enough. We were lacking patience a bit in the second half. Overall, I'm pleased with the win." (tl)
