Borussia Dortmund's U19s remained the standard-bearers in the Bundesliga West as they claimed their seventh win in as many games with a 1-0 victory over VfL Bochum.

The only goal of the hard-fought encounter came from centre-back Julius Schell, who headed home an Emre Aydinel free-kick. Captain Tobias Raschl, who had converted three penalties a week earlier in Paderborn, was denied from the spot by the Bochum custodian.

The U17s will face 1. FC Cologne in a top-of-the-table Bundesliga clash on Sunday in Brackel (kick-off 11:00 CET). (wiwi)
