"I've always emphasised that if I'm fit, I can help the team and at present it's going really well," said Marco Reus, who has been involved in 16 goals in all competitions this season (nine goals, seven assists). He was joined in the mixed zone by Thomas Delaney, Manuel Akanji, Jakob Bruun Larsen and Lucien Favre. Here we bring you their reactions.

Marco Reus: "I've always emphasised that if I'm fit, I can help the team and at present it's going really well. We've had a bit of luck in some situations, but that doesn't matter. I'm happy for it to continue like that if the team is successful."

Thomas Delaney: "It's difficult to play against Wolfsburg. We didn't have a lot of goalscoring chances but I still believe that we should've scored another goal in the second period. We tried to do that because you never know, little things can happen when you're 1-0 up, such as a penalty. But nonetheless, we played fairly well. Perhaps not at the same level as against Atlético with four goals, but it was a strong display. Up next we have two very important matches. We're in a good position in the table and we want to win every game, but it'll be difficult. We're looking forward to those matches."

Manuel Akanji: "We defended very well as a team and that's why we didn't give many clear-cut chances away. We could've definitely scored one or two more through the chances we had. But we can't score three or four goals in every game. We're all looking forward to the match against Munich, but our focus is now on Atlético Madrid. We won the first leg 4-0 and we're sure that they'll want to show a reaction. It'll be a tough game, but first of all we need to prepare for it."

Jacob Bruun Larsen: "It was an intense game with great quality. Wolfsburg performed well, especially in the opening 20 minutes, but we kept our cool. We showed stability in defence and should've scored one or two more goals. In the end we got the three points and we're really happy about that. We're playing against a strong team on Tuesday and only after that can we start to think about other opponents."

Lucien Favre: "We show a good mentality on the pitch when we play. That's the most important thing. The players will improve bit by bit."

Daniel Ginczek (VfL Wolfsburg): "We put in a decent performance today against a good opponent. Dortmund have brutal individual quality and at times we were chasing them."
