The games are coming thick and fast for Borussia Dortmund II in the Regionalliga. Having faced SV Lippstadt three days ago, they will be in action again on Wednesday as they take on Wuppertaler SV at the Stadion am Zoo (19:00 CET).

On Sunday afternoon, the Black & Yellows hosted a bold Lippstadt side whose offensive bravery and defensive focus gave them the edge. The first period finished goalless but the visitors made a very bright start to the second half and scored the only goal 47 seconds after the restart. "The goal they scored was a brilliant move. We were not in control; it was a deserved opener at that stage. We do not currently have the momentum on our side. We're very disappointed, that goes without saying," said Terzic, whose team looked more solid at the back but continued to lack creativity going forward.

The advantage of midweek fixtures, of course, is that you don't have to wait a long time to make amends. Opponents Wuppertal look to have beaten the drop after beating Düsseldorf II last weekend. The team, coached by interim boss Pascal Bieler, sit ninth in the table with 41 points to their name and could even overtake BVB if they win this week. The tight situation in the table means that a Dortmund victory would see them climb to sixth position.

BVB were the narrow victors in the reverse fixture at the Rote Erde Stadion. Joseph Boyamba and Hüseyin Bulut got the goals in a 2-1 win, with WSV forward Kramer netting the sole goal for the visitors. On Wednesday evening, BVB fans will be placed in the South Stand (standing area) and Block M of the Main Stand (seated area).
