The Regionalliga match between Wuppertaler SV and the Borussia Dortmund U23s will take place tonight at the third time of asking. On two previous occasions, the fixture has been postponed or cancelled due to the weather and external circumstances respectively. The game at the Stadion am Zoo will kick off at 19:00 CET.

The Black & Yellows will go into the game full of momentum after winning 9-2 at the weekend. But their opponents also won their last fixture, claiming a 2-0 victory against Bonner SC last Friday. Pascal Bieler's team are now ensured of a place in the division next season and currently occupy eighth place in the table. For BVB, a third-place finish is still possible, but fourth place seems far more realistic. It is currently occupied by Mönchengladbach, whom Dortmund face at the weekend. A win in the match tonight and in Saturday's meeting with the Foals would see the Black & Yellows move to within one point of their rivals. It is an objective that appears very much achievable given current form.

The stadium will open two hours prior to kick-off. Tickets from the originally scheduled fixture on 24 April are still valid! Free parking will be available in Kornstraße.
