Borussia's junior teams have some top Bundesliga matches coming up at the weekend: the U19s will be taking on Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Sunday morning, while the U17s are in action against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The U19s will take on Bayer 04 Leverkusen in Brackel on Sunday morning (kick-off 11:00 CET). Michael Skibbe's charges will be brimming with confidence following their 2-1 triumph over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Youth League in midweek. "We want to leapfrog Leverkusen in the table," declared Skibbe, who will have a full squad at his disposal following centre-back Niclas Knoop's recovery from a broken hand.

Meanwhile, the U17s will visit Borussia Mönchengladbach as league leaders. "Our aim is to defend first place, but we're up against a strong opponent," said coach Sebastian Geppert, who is full of respect for the opposition. BVB are still without the injured Dennis Lütke Frie, who is suffering from a muscle fibre tear in his thigh. (wiwi)
