The Borussia Dortmund U19s will be in action against Inter Milan in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday. Among the travelling contingent is goalkeeper Luca Unbehaun, who has recovered from a long spell out injured.

It was clear from the lads' faces prior to their departure for Milan that they were still full of disappointment with their own performance in the 4-0 derby defeat to Schalke. But they need to push that out of their minds fast and look ahead, because the next big challenge is just around the corner: the U19s face a tricky trip to Inter Milan (kick-off 16:00 CET on Wednesday) next.

"The good thing is that we have the chance to make amends a few days later," said U19 head coach Michael Skibbe prior to the big match in the UEFA Youth League. "We want to make the most of this opportunity," he added. He will, however, be without Giovanni Reyna (in action with the U.S. national team at the U17 World Cup in Brazil), as well as the duo of Alaa Bakir (hip injury) and defender Niclas Knoop, who has been ruled out at short notice with a gastrointestinal infection.

Having not been eligible to play against Schalke 04, Luca Unbehaun will return in between the sticks following a knee operation and a long spell out. Young senior player Tobias Raschl and Emre Aydinel have been brought in as reinforcements, as has U17 international Lion Semic. (wiwi)
