"We didn't do enough to beat Barca today," said Mats Hummels after the 3-1 defeat at the Nou Camp. The defender also commented on his stray pass which led to Barcelona's second goal. "It was too open," highlighted Lucien Favre, who also went onto say: "We played well in the last 20 minutes." Here are the reactions.

Mats Hummels: "It wasn't a bad game, but it wasn't a great one either. Barcelona were really very good, especially with Messi on the attack for the whole game. We had good phases throughout the evening but we had a few bad phases too, as was the case after conceding the first goal. That was a particularly bad phase which was exacerbated by a stray pass that led to their second goal. We didn't do enough to beat Barca today; maybe it was the result of not creating enough chances. We had a big chance early on and just after the break, both of which we should've converted."

Lucien Favre: "It was too open. If you give Barcelona too much space to play, then it gets difficult. We tried to play aggressively but Barcelona played well. Despite that, we had two very good chances and could've made it 1-0 in the first half. We subsequently made a few mistakes which made it too easy for Barcelona. We played well in the last 20 minutes, made it 3-1 and could've made it 3-2. Barcelona started to counter and still proved dangerous. We engaged in a lot of one-on-one situations which put us at risk."
