We expected to sell a lot but not this many: At 6 pm our special shirt, which the team wore in the home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf, was sold out - absolute madness!

At times, even the online shop was not accessible because of the rush.

One year on from the end of the coal industry in the Ruhr area, Borussia Dortmund ran out in a black shirt, which included the logos of all partners: Evonik, PUMA, Opel and the Bundesliga. After all, BVB and the city of Dortmund were born out of coal and steel.

And to commemorate this long and proud story and our 110th birthday on 19 December we are dedicating this memorial in the form of a special shirt.
