The Borussia Dortmund youth teams will play their final Junior Bundesliga fixtures before the winter break on Sunday, with the U19s facing Alemannia Aachen away from home at 13:00 CET and the U17s welcoming SV Lippstadt 08 to Hohenbuschei at 11:00 CET.

Coach Michael Skibbe is expecting his charges to follow up their thumping 5-1 win over Slavia Prague with another convincing display. "We cannot allow ourselves to make any more mistakes and slip-ups," said the 54-year-old, whose side will spend the winter break in second spot if they win. They will be without Felix Schlüsselburg, who is scheduled to undergo dental surgery, but Maik Amedick will return to the squad after serving a recent suspension.

The draw for the UEFA Youth League play-offs will take place in Nyon on Monday. Among the possible opponents are Derby County, Dynamo Kiev, Midtjylland, Porto, Rangers, Real Zaragoza, Rennes and Sheriff Tiraspol.

The U17s, meanwhile, will be without the trio of Tekin Gencoglu, Faroukou Cisse and Vasco Walz against Lippstadt. "We want a positive performance and a win from our final fixture. Then we'll be able to look back on the second half of the year with pride," said coach Sebastian Geppert.

Detailed reports will be published on the youth website.
