Borussia Dortmund's first digital matchday a fortnight ago was a resounding success that the BVB family can be proud of. Our initiative to support over 125 Dortmund-based catering businesses that have been badly affected by the coronavirus has raised over €120,000. That's 120,000 reasons to do it all over again. So rather than the 'Klassiker' between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich that was scheduled to take place, there will instead be a second BVB digital matchday on Saturday!

Our objective is to rally as much support as possible to help make another small contribution to ensuring that our favourites bars, restaurants and stalls, which we would regularly visit on a BVB home matchday, are still in operation by the time Bundesliga action resumes!

The digital matchday will be incorporated into a lengthy live broadcast from SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, presented by BVB icon and stadium announcer Norbert Dickel. During the broadcast, "Nobby" will welcome lots of exciting guests – including current BVB players Marco Reus and Mats Hummels plus former Black & Yellow Neven Subotic.

In addition, the second round of the "Bundesliga Home Challenge", the German Football League (DFL) initiative which got off to a successful start last weekend, will take place. This time around, the Black & Yellows – again represented by the duo of first-player Achraf Hakimi and YouTuber Erné Embeli – will take on Holstein Kiel on the PlayStation. The virtual clash will kick off at 18:00 CET on Saturday (live-stream to start from 15:30 CET) on the BVB YouTube channel as well as Facebook and BVB-TV.
