Good news for BVB! Club captain Marco Reus has made his return to team training. On Tuesday morning, the 31-year-old rejoined his teammates on the training pitch at the club's Hohenbuschei complex for the first time since his recent injury setback. Reus was able to participate in all aspects of the light session led by head coach Lucien Favre.

Reus will be able to take part in the majority of the team's training programme over the coming days as he looks to make his return to competitive action.

Reus suffered a muscular injury at the beginning of February. The Germany international then adjusted his rehabilitation plan during the long Coronavirus-enforced absence ''in order to allow the injury to fully heal and my body to get into even better shape than before.'' The patience now seems to have paid off.
