Borussia Dortmund won their Bundesliga opener for the sixth consecutive season while also beating Borussia Mönchengladbach for the eleventh time in a row. Here are the match facts.

Special 11: Borussia Dortmund have won their last 11 Bundesliga matches against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The only longer winning streak in club history is against SC Freiburg: 12 consecutive wins from 2010 to 2017.

Youngest co-production: A 17-year-old set up it, another 17-year-old scored it: Giovanni Reyna's opening goal - assisted by Jude Bellingham - will go down in history. Since data was first collected in the early 1990s, no two 17-year-olds have ever recorded scorer points for the same goal.

On form: Jadon Sancho, BVB's top scorer last season, was involved in the goals today - his assist for the third goal was one for the highlights reel.

Brace: This was the fifth time Erling Haaland has scored multiple goals in a Bundesliga match. His overall record in the German top-flight now reads 15 goals in 16 games. Uwe Seeler is the only player to score more goals (16) in his first 16 Bundesliga games.

Good start: An assist and 56% of tackles won reflect what was an impressive debut for Jude Bellingham.

Comeback: Felix Passlack played his first competitive match for BVB in 1,127 days. His last game was the 3-0 win in Wolfsburg on 19 August 2017 in which he also came on as a substitute.

Debut: Thomas Meunier and Jude Bellingham played their first matches in the Bundesliga.

Adjustment: Lucien Favre didn't make any changes to the outfield line-up that picked up a road win against Duisburg in the DFB Cup. However, Roman Bürki replaced Marwin Hitz in goal.
