Looking at the stats, with 15-7 shots, 54% of the ball possession and the majority of duels won (55%), Dortmund's victory in the Weserstadion was impressive. Werder keeper Pavlenka made seven saves, but also gave away the decisive penalty. Match facts:

Attacking defender: Raphael Guerreiro has been involved in at least one goal in four Bundesliga games in a row (two goals, three assists). 

Fastest goal of the season: Guerreiro's strike was Borussia Dortmund's fastest goal of this Bundesliga season. 

Taking the lead: In the past four Bundesliga matches, BVB had gone 1-0 down. Today, they took the lead at 1-0 for the first time since Matchday 7 (against Bayern). 

Youngest starting 11: The coach named the youngest BVB starting 11 (average age of 24.6 years) for almost two years (March 2019). 

Milestones: Roman Bürki played his 200th Bundesliga match, Axel Witsel played his 100th competitive game for Borussia Dortmund.
