After the win against Hertha, Edin Terzic, Emre Can and Julian Brandt all shared their thoughts. The goalscorer admitted: "I was a bit shocked myself to see it go in..." Here are the match reactions.

Edin Terzic: "I'm very satisfied. It wasn't easy today. The last few matches have been very intense. But the way we then saw it through was very good. The fact that we hadn't taken the lead in the first period annoyed us somewhat at the break. It was a very intense game; these have been intense weeks. It was very important to pick up the three points. Julian was heavily involved in the game, had lots of the ball, looked very lively, won one or two important balls back with his defensive work and then got his reward with the goal. That paved the way today."

Julian Brandt: "Perhaps the wind played a decisive part in the goal. If I'm honest, I was a bit shocked myself to see it go in, as the shot was quite central. It's not been so easy for me this season. I'm trying to work my way out of the situation bit by bit. Every goal obviously does you a lot of good. It wasn't easy today; Hertha defended well. We won the game; that was very important. We still have a few games ahead of us, and I have a good feeling, even if we do have some good teams ahead of us who are winning their games relatively comfortably. But we still have a few matches against direct rivals."

Emre Can: "Patience was the key today. We performed well and already created several chances in the first half but the goalkeeper made some good saves. We said to each other at the break that we wanted to keep playing football. In the end, we deservedly won 2-0. Super that Jule unleashed a rocket like that. After that, it became slightly easier for us. We are feeling good and for the most part have been playing good football again this last week. And even when we haven't played well at times, we've worked well and won. That's how it must continue. We need to view every match as a knockout game, because we absolutely want to be involved in the Champions League next season. It's not going to be easy, but we have everything in our own hands. We simply need to take it game by game. It's nice that we'll now be able to have a bit of a breather and train a bit during the week. And then we need to go for it again on Saturday. We know what's awaiting us in Cologne – and we'll obviously try to win that game too."
