This year, the BVB first-team squad will once again spend a week (23-31 July) in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland) to prepare for the upcoming season. We are delighted that all signs point to the two friendly matches scheduled for the training camp against Athletic Bilbao (24 July in St. Gallen) and FC Bologna (30 July in Altach, Austria) being able to be held in front of fans. However, the team's training sessions at the Ri-Au training ground in Bad Ragaz will have to take place behind closed doors again this year.

Despite the current low rate of infection in Switzerland, the local conditions at the training ground unfortunately make it impossible for organisational reasons to hold the training session in public and at the same time ensure the protection of our fans. We regret this decision very much, but of course the health of all involved comes first in this ongoing pandemic situation. We look forward all the more to the support of our fans at the friendly games.

Pre-sale has started for the friendly game against FC Bologna in Altach. Further information can be accessed here. Further information regarding capacity and the conditions at the ground will be provided over the coming days on bvb.de.

Please appreciate that due to the ongoing protective measures at the training ground, the team hotel and at the friendly matches, the BVB players will not be able to fulfil any selfie or autograph requests. We therefore ask you to refrain from visiting the training ground and the team hotel and at the same time thank you for your understanding of these unfortunately unavoidable requirements.
