Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund have signed midfield talent Abdoulaye Kamara for the start of the new season. The 16-year-old Frenchman has joined the German cup winners with immediate effect on a free transfer from Paris St. Germain.

"Abdoulaye is a highly talented and still very young player who has been training regularly with the first team in Paris. We hope that he will now develop accordingly with us in the senior set-up and take the next step in his career," said Sebastian Kehl, head of the licensed player division at Borussia Dortmund.

Kamara, whose favoured position is in defensive midfield, has already passed the obligatory medical test and has signed a long-term contract with the club.
