For the eleventh time in a row, BVB have gone to Bad Ragaz for their summer training camp. Coach Marco Rose led his side through their first training session in Switzerland on Friday afternoon.

"We're going to pick up where we left off. We have had an intense few weeks where we did a lot of work without the ball. There are still things we have to work on with the ball," Rose said. "Little by little new players are joining us. We have to pick them up in different ways in terms of fitness and try to get them in the best shape possible as we look towards Wiesbaden."

Arrival

At 10:35 on Friday, the team flew from Dortmund airport to St. Gallen-Altenrhein with 28 players on board. After arriving in Switzerland, the two team buses transported the squad to Bad Ragaz.

Training

In the afternoon, the Black & Yellow took their first steps onto the pitches of the "Ri-Au" sports ground, which will be their home for the next week. At 15:30, Marco Rose led the first training session. After warm-ups, rondo drills and passing exercises, the team played several games. Erling Haaland scored the first goal of training on a small pitch. Marcel Schmelzer, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Soumaila Coulibaly trained individually. You can rewatch the first training session here.
