Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund will once again convert part of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK into a vaccination centre, together with the Westphalia-Lippe Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVWL). BVB had already used Germany's largest stadium as a vaccination centre in the summer of 2020. The new edition to the campaign starts on 2 December. Several thousand doses of the vaccine will be available.

As part of BVB and KVWL's offer, which is aimed at those interested in their first or second vaccination, as well as the booster shot, the highly effective mRNA vaccines from Moderna and BioNTech will be used. Moderna will be used fundamentally, with the BioNTech vaccine only given to those under 30 years of age and pregnant women at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

Access to the vaccination centre, which will now be located next to the West Stand ("Alter Markt"), will be via the BVB Fan World on Strobelallee. Vaccinations will be held daily from 08:00 till 20:00 CET from 2 December. It is just on 6 December that the opening times will differ (08:00 to 18:00 CET). On 7 December, the vaccination centre will be closed. Due to the dynamic situation, BVB and KVWL have not yet decided when the vaccination campaign will end.

Borussia Dortmund and the Westphalia-Lippe Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians will not be allocating any appointments as part of their vaccination campaign, so both sides ask that all of those interested please be patient if there are longer waiting times on site. Please bring your ID, health insurance card (if available), and vaccination certificate with you to your vaccination.
