Seven hundred and sixty-three (almost exclusively) dreary days when our football temple has seen matches played in front of empty or sparsely occupied stands will be behind us on Saturday. The goals were celebrated more or less, but there were no familiar faces in the adjacent seats, and there was no one to hug in celebration during the "special match day operations".

After 763 days, SIGNAL IDUNA PARK is finally back to the way we love it: sold out with 81,365 fans, and the "Südtribüne" will be packed full of fans! Finally, everyone will be back in their familiar seats, meeting up with friends and acquaintances again at the most beautiful place in the (footballing) world. For the first time since 29 February 2020.

So the fans will be the focus for the home game against RB Leipzig! We would like to thank each and every member of the Black and Yellow family for their support and loyalty over the past two difficult years. In the "ghost games" or the matches played in front of just a few spectators, it has become very clear that without the support of the entire stadium, what makes Borussia Dortmund so special is missing.

We would also like to thank you for the unprecedented social commitment that many fans have made over the past two years. Whether it was shopping for those in need during the lockdowns, the fundraising campaign for the local food and drinks vendors, collecting goods donated for those affected by the flood or, last but not least, the great willingness to help the people of Ukraine: you have shown that Borussia Dortmund is more than just a football club!

In the game against Leipzig, our team will therefore play in a very special kit, incorporating the names of all 987 official fan clubs!

Thank you for your loyalty!
