Borussia Dortmund's Thorgan Hazard, a 29-year-old Belgium international with a contract at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season, is moving out on loan to Dutch Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven. All parties signed off on a loan deal until 30 June 2023.

''Thorgan Hazard came to us with the request to move to a club where he will receive regular playing time. Eindhoven, placed third in the Eredivisie, are competing for the title and also still in the Europa League. We hope Toto gets a lot of playing time over the coming months and we hope he helps the team achieve the best possible success,'' says BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

''This loan move is the best solution for everyone at the moment. Over the next five months I'll get the opportunity to play for a very ambitious club and gain further experience at a high level.''

Hazard moved to BVB from Borussia Mönchengladbach in summer 2019 and has to date made 122 appearances in the Black & Yellow jersey, scoring 18 goals and notching up 21 assists. His most notable success with the club came in the DFB-Pokal final against Leipzig in 2021, which Borussia won 4-1.
