Midfielder Julian Brandt has been voted the Bundesliga Player of the Month for the second month in succession. The BVB player, who is currently out injured, has now won both the January and February editions of the award.

Brandt scored a goal in each of BVB's four Bundesliga matches in February and played a major role in the victories against Freiburg, Bremen, Hertha and Hoffenheim in the process. The BVB player has now been rewarded once again for his outstanding performances.

Thanks to the votes from players, fans and experts, Brandt has been voted the "Bundesliga Player of the Month" for February. He beat off competition from his BVB team-mates Nico Schlotterbeck and Raphael Guerreiro, Alphonso Davies (Bayern), Jae-sung Lee (Mainz) und Borna Sosa (Stuttgart).

It is the second time this season that the award, which is presented by the German Football League (DFL) in cooperation with EA Sports, has gone to Dortmund.
