BVB can clinch the Bundesliga title when they play against FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday. Public viewing, trophy ceremony, parade – this is what will happen if BVB win the title.

Public viewing
According to the local authorities, there will be no public viewing for this Bundesliga match.

Trophy presentation
If BVB win the Championship, the handover of the Shield will take place on the pitch. BVB are calling upon all fans in the stadium to remain in their seats in the stands in the event of a victory in order to give all spectators in the stadium the opportunity to watch the trophy presentation.

Entry into the Golden Book
In the event of a Championship victory, the team will write their names into the Golden Book of the City of Dortmund on Sunday morning.

Parade
A possible parade – whereby the team would present itself to the Black & Yellow fans – would start at 12:09 CET on Sunday. The route would be the same as for previous title wins: the parade would start at the Westfalenhütte grounds and head towards Borsigplatz. After one and a half laps, it would depart BVB's birthplace again via Oesterholzstraße and head in the direction of the city centre to the Wall. After more than four kilometres and about four hours, it would reach its destination where the Hohe Wall intersects with Lange Straße.

Several hundred thousand people would be expected in the city for a possible title celebration. Several hundred security personnel would be deployed. Glass would be banned along the route. There would be temporary road closures during the parade.

Broadcast
BVB-TV will broadcast a possible parade via live-stream on the Internet.

In the event of a title win, Borussia Dortmund and the City of Dortmund are calling upon all fans to celebrate peacefully. "The celebrations shall prevail. We ask everyone to deal with each other in such a way that it works out well," says Dortmund's Lord Mayor Thomas Westphal.
