On Saturday, Borussia Dortmund have the chance to be crowned champions of Germany in their match against FSV Mainz 05. There is immense demand for tickets for the home match, which has been sold out for a long time. BVB expressly warn against purchasing tickets via non-authorised, unofficial or illegal black market platforms.

The huge interest in the match has led to first-time buyers capitalising on the opportunity to make a high profit from the sale of tickets by offering them at inflated prices on platforms such as Viagogo, ebay, classifieds or in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. Often, these are counterfeit or blocked tickets that do not entitle the holder to enter the stadium.

Borussia Dortmund, together with the law firm Ruhrkanzlei, is taking action against these sellers and vendors. In addition to legal proceedings, BVB will revoke the right of first refusal and any existing season tickets.

If you paid more than face value for a ticket, please get in touch with zweitmarkt@bvb.de so that we can investigate your case. This will be possible after the match too.

Please send us the following pieces of evidence:

  • Proof of purchase of the ticket/s
  • Correspondence with the ticket seller or the non-authorised platform.
  • The tickets

We strongly advise you not to buy tickets via the above-mentioned channels! Only use official channels such as the BVB secondary ticket market to purchase tickets for fixtures at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
