Mats Hummels scored his second international goal to give Germany an early lead in Friday’s 1-1 (1-1) draw with Italy. The friendly in Milan was an intense game, with the German team hitting the woodwork on three occasions.

Hummels was the only of the five BVB players in the German squad to play the full 90 minutes. Marco Reus came on after 60 minutes, Sven Bender a little later, with Marcel Schmelzer and Roman Weidenfeller hoping to make an appearance against England at Wembley on Tuesday.
