Borussia Dortmund will open the 2014/15 Bundesliga campaign on a Saturday night. Their first opponents at Signal Iduna Park on 23 August are Bayer Leverkusen, with the game kicking off at 1830 CET.

Borussia’s first away fixture of the season is also taking place in the evening hours as the match at FC Augsburg is scheduled for a 2030 CET kick-off on Friday, 29 August. Their third game of the 2014/15 campaign is at home against SC Freiburg on Saturday, 13 September (KO: 1530 CET), while their fourth at 1.FSV Mainz is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 21 September. However, if Mainz fail to qualify for the Europa League, the match will be moved from Sunday to Saturday, 20 September, with an 1830 CET kick-off.

Further fixture details will be announced by the German Football League (DFL) by the end of August.
