A total of 13 girls and boys aged 8-14 from our partner FootballPlus visited the BVB Evonik Football Academy last month. The youngsters were accompanied by the organisers of the corporate social responsibility project.

For many of the kids on the trip organised by our long-term partner, it was their first time travelling by plane. That meant it was all the more important for us to make the children's stay in Dortmund an unforgettable experience with FootballPlus.

In addition to training sessions in the shadow of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, they visited the Youth Performance Centre and were able to test their skills in the Footbonaut. Team-building and life kinetics sessions were also held.

In order to get to know the club even better, the groups went on the stadium tour and then visited the BORUSSEUM. Attending the Bundesliga home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach was definitely the highlight of the trip.

In addition, they went to a Nordstadtliga game in the north of Dortmund, where they exchanged ideas about their respective non-profit projects and culture.
