"After the break we did not click on the pause button again and played a great match," said BVB coach Jürgen Klopp after the 6-1 victory against VfB Stuttgart on Friday night, while his counterpart Thomas Schneider stated, "You need a perfect day to beat this Dortmund side, and we did not have one today."

Herr Klopp, what did your team do well today against VfB?
We could have been 2-0 up before their goal, but we lacked the final touch. However, our combination play was great until the final pass, and had a lot of counter-pressing situations. In between there were some lapses in concentration, but after the break we did not click on the pause button again and played a great game.

What is your view on the not-given penalty shortly before the break?
I have watched the situation several times and I´m still not sure. If he blows the whistle, then it´s a penalty and we could not have complained. We were lucky here, but I don´t think that a 2-2 halftime score would have influenced the second half much.

A 6-1 victory under the floodlights - was this a perfect night of football?
We don´t have it that often, so we should frame it. In the second half our focus and final touch were much better, and the final whistle was the only thing I didn´t like. And that you can also only get three points for such a display.

Herr Schneider, what are your thoughts on the game?
This was a bitter night, and in the end it was a deserved defeat, even by that kind of scoreline. You need a perfect day to beat this Dortmund side, and we didn´t have one today.
