Meyer To Referee Home Match Against Berlin
Florian Meyer from Burgdorf will be the referee in Sunday´s Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and Hertha BSC at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. His assistants on the sidelines will be Thomas Frank and Carsten Kadach. Fourth official is Holger Henschel.
The 39-year old Meyer lives in Burgdorf near Hannover and his home team is RSV Braunschweig. Meyer is not married and calls running, reading and fishing his hobbies. He has been part on the German FA´s referee roster since 1996 and was promoted to the Bundesliga on October 16, 1998. Since then, he has officiated 154 matches. In 2002, Meyer also became a FIFA referee and has officiated 15 national team matches and 25 European Cup ties.
