It is a slightly different trip to a UEFA Champions League away game this time: on Monday morning, the Borussia Dortmund players began the approx. two-hour bus journey to Eindhoven. After a drive of around 170 kilometres, the travelling Black & Yellow contingent will arrive at their destination in the Netherlands at midday.

It is BVB's first trip to Eindhoven since October 2002. Back then, Borussia won their UCL Champions League group game 3-1 thanks to goals from Jan Koller, Tomas Rosicky and Marcio Amoroso.

In contrast to the away game against VfL Wolfsburg last Saturday, Ramy Bensebaini is among the travelling party on this occasion. The Algerian missed out on BVB's trip to Lower Saxony due to illness. However, Karim Adeyemi (muscular problems) is still unavailable. Julien Duranville and U19 player Kjell Wätjen are in the squad.

Upon arrival, the players will first head to the team hotel. At 17:15 CET, head coach Edin Terzic and goalkeeper Gregor Kobel will field questions from media representatives at the press conference. The Black & Yellows will subsequently head to the Philips Stadium, which has a capacity of around 35,000, for the final training session.
