BVB U19s will play in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League for the first time on Wednesday 16 March. Kick-off against the youngsters from Atletico Madrid is 16:30 CET. To provide this match with a worthy setting, the Dortmund lads will play at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and BVB fans can attend free of charge.

Lars Ricken, Borussia Dortmund's youth director, is looking forward to this match. "The boys have earned it," he said, eyeing this match on the big stage: "It's a great opportunity for our players and our fans."

The stadium opens at 15:00 CET, with a crowd of up to 25,000 fans permitted to all stands. Admission is free, tickets will be handed out directly by the security staff when entering the stadium. There will therefore be no advance ticket sales.

When entering the stadium, the 2G-plus regulation is binding. Digital proofs must be shown in the Corona-Warn app or CovPass app (digital EU Covid certificate). We also ask all visitors to have their ID card ready for data matching. Only immunised (vaccinated/recovered) persons who can also show a negative test result will be admitted to the stadium. The test result of a rapid antigen test may not be older than 24 hours, that of a PCR test not older than 48 hours.

The additional test obligation does not apply to persons who have been:

  • Vaccinated + Vaccinated + Vaccinated: have been "boosted" (third vaccination) in addition to complete basic immunisation; applies from the day of the third vaccination
  • Vaccinated + Vaccinated: have been vaccinated twice and the second vaccination was more than 14 days but less than 90 days ago
  • Vaccinated + Recovered: have recovered from an infection and have received at least one additional vaccination
  • Recovered: have recovered from an infection and the recovery was more than 27 days but less than 90 days ago.

Children and adolescents up to and including 17 years of age (identification document must be shown) are exempt from the obligation to provide proof. Persons who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons (medical certificate required) will be admitted for testing. For the mentioned exemptions, the test result of a rapid antigen test must not be older than 24 hours, of a PCR test not older than 48 hours.

Please note that we are not offering a Uni-Shuttle from Otto-Hahn-Strasse car park to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for this match. Furthermore, we do not serve alcohol at youth matches.

The team is looking forward to your support in the most beautiful stadium in the world!
