BVB will pay a visit to the Mewa-Arena at 18:30 CEST on Saturday 11/05. Around 3,500 BVB fans will support the team in Mainz. We have compiled the most important info for you.

Arrival

Arrival by car:

  • There are no parking spaces available for cars at the Mewa-Arena. The free-of-charge Park & Ride car park at the Messe (Genfer Allee in 55129 Mainz) can be used. Numerous shuttle buses will run from there. 
  • There is an environmental zone in Mainz that can only be entered with a green badge. The Messe car park is excluded from this.

Arrival by bus/minibus:

  • For buses, parking is available near the away sector (car park P9). The costs are €20 per bus and €10 per minibus. 
  • Access is only via Koblenzer Straße (exit Lerchenberg).

Arrival by train/public transport:

  • A shuttle bus will run from the main train station to the stadium.
  • Take tram lines 51 and 53 to the tram stop Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena
  • Take buses 54, 55, 56, 58, 62, 74, 91 and 93 to the Kisselberg stop

Admission

  • The stadium will open two hours before kick-off, i.e. at 16:30 CEST.
  • The away sector is located in blocks H, I (seated area) and J (standing area).
  • The material inspection will take place in an area separated by a fence on P9 directly next to the away entrance.

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • 3 megaphones
  • 5 drums (open, interior visible)
  • 15 large swivel flags (pole length over 2m)
  • Flags with a pole length of up to 2m
  • Double-holders
  • Fence flags (advertising hoardings and emergency exits must not be obstructed)

Permitted items:

  • Tetrapaks up to 250ml
  • Bum bags

Forbidden items:

  • Rucksacks and bags larger than DIN A4 size. Rucksacks and bags can be deposited free of charge at the away entrance.
  • Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses with a focal length over 200 mm and other interchangeable lenses as well as video cameras

Stadium

  • There is no fixed alcohol limit, but people who are visibly drunk will not be denied entry to the stadium.
  • You can pay with debit and credit card in the away sector. It is also possible to pay with Google Pay and Apple Pay. It is not possible to pay by cash.
