Borussia Dortmund will conclude the 24th Bundesliga matchday on Sunday. The Black & Yellows play at FC Augsburg at 17:30 CET.

Head coach Marco Rose went straight from the training ground to the press conference on Saturday afternoon, where he shared his latest impressions from final training. "Raphael Guerreiro trained with us and basically gave the all clear." The left-back had signalled muscular problems before the Europa League match at Glasgow Rangers on Thursday and did not make an appearance. During the match, Marco Reus and Thomas Meunier both had to be substituted due to injury. Both will not be available on Sunday in Augsburg.

Emre Can had complained of back pain after the game in Glasgow, but was able to return to light training on Saturday. "We will have to see how he is tomorrow. The signals are positive," said Rose. For Erling Haaland, Giovanni Reyna, Manuel Akanji and Dan-Axel Zagadou, who have all been absent recently, it is still too early to make an appearance. Despite the spate of injuries, Rose will not nominate any extra players from the U23s for the Bundesliga squad, but instead "fly to Augsburg with one or two players less".

After the elimination in the UEFA Europa League during the week, "the disappointment was huge. Our Cup season has been more than disappointing. Nevertheless, in the last two games - in terms of energy - I saw a team that invested and exuded a lot," explained the BVB coach. "We need that tomorrow as well. The task in Augsburg is always an unpleasant one. Augsburg is one of the most intense teams in the league and is fighting for the chance to earn points at home. We have to bring the same energy to the pitch." FCA can always go above and beyond, especially on home soil, said Rose: "They bring intensity and aggressiveness to the pitch and try to overwhelm the opponent that way. We must not allow ourselves be impressed by that."

In Augsburg, Rose wants to build on BVB’s good Bundesliga record and turn the mood around: "We want to win this game tomorrow, then there are ten games remaining. We want to stabilise. After the disappointment in the cup competitions, it's important for us in these conditions to make the next Bundesliga games work for us."
