Last Saturday, Borussia Dortmund's U23s celebrated a 2-1 away win after four defeats in a row. BVB are back on track and want to continue this form on Saturday afternoon in their home game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Kick-off at the Stadion Rote Erde is at 14:00 CET.

With six wins from their last ten third division games, the Red Devils are travelling to Dortmund with plenty of confidence. Marco Antwerpen's side have stabilised in recent weeks despite suffering from some personnel setbacks. Maximilian Hippe, who only moved from Dortmund to the Palatinate in August, also hasn't escaped injuries. The central defender has only made three appearances so far, but he is a candidate for the starting eleven on Saturday. FCK have distinguished themselves as a strong collective recently, and there's not just one top scorer, but ten different goalscorers already. However, they're particularly dangerous when experienced players like Daniel Hanslik, Philipp Hercher, and Mike Wunderlich are on the ball.

The Black & Yellows' personnel situation has somewhat eased in the past couple of weeks, but in addition to Marco Pasalic and Kolbeinn Finnsson, Luca Unbehaun will also still be missing. Tobias Raschl, who has been injured recently, is ready for action.

The game on Saturday is a premiere: Dortmund's U23s have never before faced Kaiserslautern. BVB's pros won their last match against the Red Devils 5-2 in 2012.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available to BVB members on the online ticket shop.
