BVB fans have a treat coming their way with a new 10-episode documentary series providing a deep and raw insight into the club and its world-class players. During the docuseries BVB 09 – Stories who we are, you will discover more about the lives and experiences of the players than ever before.

Each story addresses the realities of the players' lives both on and off the pitch exploring their victories, their relationships with their team members as well as issues they face, such as missing home, strains on their relationships and the feeling of being uprooted. The series offers a unique account of the footballing world as we witness the players strive for their goals and express their hopes, values and so much more. 

By documenting the players' day-to-day lives on the training field, board offices and stadiums, the series offers an omniscient perspective into the individuals who make up the team, taking a glimpse into the lives of young talents to BVB legends; from Erling Haaland to Emre Can to Lukasz Piszczek. Through close observation “fly-on-the-wall” style, detailed testimonials, exclusive interviews and on the pitch action, the audience can piece together the innerworkings of the BVB team. Witness first-hand a journey through shared and individual experiences and understand how major world events such as COVID-19 have impacted team life. Players will reveal their greatest fears, uncertainties and vulnerabilities and retrace the victories and challenges they have faced over the last year.
