Lucien Favre has been "very satisfied" with the training camp in Bad Ragaz, which draws to a close today. The squad that returns to Dortmund will not be entirely injury-free, however, with Mateu Morey set for several weeks on the sidelines.

There were only a few seconds left of Tuesday's 4-1 friendly win against FC St. Gallen when the new signing from Barcelona landed on the turf shoulder-first. The 19-year-old full-back, who has made an excellent impression in training and friendlies alike, dislocated the joint but fortunately did not need to be operated. He will instead undergo a conservative therapy, which will last several weeks.

In addition to Morey, BVB will be without Roman Bürki (laceration on his shin), Julian Brandt (training lightly since yesterday following an adductor problem) and probably Thorgan Hazard (also in light training after recovering from an ankle injury) for their Super Cup meeting with Bayern Munich on Saturday (kick-off 20:30 CET, live on ZDF and DAZN).

Bürki's place will be taken by Marwin Hitz. BVB have won each of their four matches in which have had the 31-year-old Swiss shot-stopper between the sticks, including a 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich last season. Even if "there's currently no team out there that can be ready," said Favre two weeks before the Bundesliga resumes, and there'll be a lack of freshness after what has been an energy-sapping training camp, "we still need to prepare ourselves well for this match". It's a matter of prestige; a chance to win a title. "The Super Cup is the Super Cup. There are no more friendlies," said Lucien Favre. (br)
