Mats Hummels, Marco Reus and Marius Wolf didn't make the trip to Seville - not to mention Reyna, Dahoud, Bynoe-Gittens, Morey and, of course, Haller. At least Gregor Kobel was able to join the travelling party on the three-hour flight to hot Andalusia (30 degrees). There is a chance that the goalkeeper will be part of the matchday squad on Wednesday evening.

"I don't want to sound too positive or too negative," said Edin Terzic at the press conference before the first of three training sessions his team will undergo in Seville. In addition to the final training unit early on Tuesday evening, the schedule also includes a "warm-up" on Wednesday and a regeneration unit on Thursday before the flight home. Gregor Kobel is set to be involved in all three sessions.

"Gregor has fortunately travelled with us and is now able to increase his workload in training," said Terzic: "We'll decide in the morning whether he can be in the matchday squad. We'll have to weigh up the risk we're prepared to take, perhaps as early as tomorrow." (br)
