Lucien Favre will spend the rest of his 62nd birthday like any other day at the office. But as he analyses the Wolfsburg match and prepares for the game against Inter Milan, he will be sure to enjoy a glass of red wine.

Lucien Favre on the balance of play:
It was a tough match. The first half was difficult for us. In the second half, we played a lot better and, above all, were much quicker between the lines, with fewer touches and the right movement. We had a lot of goalscoring opportunities, some of which we missed. And yet I'm personally very satisfied with the 3-0 scoreline, especially as Wolfsburg had a few chances of their own in the second half.

...on being asked how Marco Reus is doing:
I can't give you a clear answer to that question. At the moment, we don't yet know exactly what the issue is. He took a knock and wasn't able to continue playing.

...on being asked how he's going to spend the rest of his birthday:
With a glass of red wine – and then the focus is on Inter.

...on Roman Bürki:
He resumed training the day before yesterday. It was a good session but afterwards he was very, very tired because he'd had a cold for a few days. We'll see. It already improved a lot yesterday and today. We'll hold on until he's completely healthy.

...on being asked whether the Champions League match against Inter Milan factored into his decision to make five changes to the starting XI:
Not really. It was part of the plan to rotate like that. We also had six different players against Gladbach after the game in Schalke. Today it was five. It won't work without rotation when we play three times a week. Not many players are able to give 100 percent in three successive matches. It's good we can rotate. It has worked very well to date, and we'll continue to do so. Now we still have two matches before the break. Then after that there are eight games until Christmas. We'll need to continue to rotate.

...on Thorgan Hazard's development:
I'm very, very satisfied that he got a goal and an assist. He already had five assists beforehand. He's finding his position slowly but surely. He can play on the left, he can play on the right, he can play as a nine and a half, and as a striker. It's always good for a team to have versatile players. (br)
