"Krystian was a brilliant signing. Even though he never played, he always gave everything, was consistently loyal and worked so hard in training that none of the other goalkeepers could afford a dip in form," said the U23 sporting director Ingo Preuß of the departing shot-stopper. "We are also a little proud that in Patrick Osterhage and Taylan Duman, we will again see two players move to the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2," he added. "We'd like to thank all the players for their commitment and wish them every success with their new clubs."
