"It's going well; I'm training very well personally too," said Erling Haaland in the media round on Tuesday. The striker additionally spoke about his goals for the season and his old/new boss Marco Rose.

Erling Haaland on his potential for improvement:
"I need to score more goals with my right foot, but with my head and my left foot too. I can improve in every respect."

…the weight of expectation after the last two seasons:
"You can view the chances that I have taken in different ways. If I had taken every opportunity, I would have finished as top scorer. But I didn't. There were a lot of opportunities I didn't take and I need to improve."

…Marco Rose:
"I know him well from before; Rene Maric, Alexander Zickler and Patrick Eibenberger too. I didn't play under him much in Salzburg. I hope that I'll do so more now."

…his season objectives with BVB:
"First of all, I still need to continue my development. As a team, we need to be more consistent and win more matches. If you look at the way football was played under Marco Rose in Salzburg, you can see that there were 11 players on the pitch that ran and fought for each other."

…the impact of the cup triumph:
"It was important for the club to win another title. It would've of course been better if we could've celebrated with our fans."

…Donyell Malen:
"I've spoken to him briefly. I think that he's looking forward to playing in front of the BVB fans and also hopefully to playing alongside me. I told him that he'll have to provide me with lots of assists, otherwise I'll get mad at him (laughs). I hope that we'll play together in attack. He's here to make a difference. He needs to bring positive energy and deliver from the first minute, because BVB are a big club."
