Fan club Project "Black & Yellow Family"
For the fourth time already, the BVB Foundation "leuchte auf" (light up) is inviting fan clubs to participate in its "Black & Yellow Family" bidding process at the start of the 2017/18 season. The goal of this foundation project is to motivate BVB fan clubs to pursue important, charitable projects.
Up until now, "leuchte auf" has supported a total of 25 projects run by BVB fan clubs, who have put themselves forward on a voluntary basis for good causes. Irrespective of the planned project's size, every fan club currently operating is invited to participate in the bidding to give themselves a chance of receiving financial support towards the implementation of their charitable project concept. "We give the fan clubs as much freedom as possible with regard to the development of the idea. It is important for us that not-for-profit organisations are aided thanks to the engagement of BVB fans, and in turn, disadvantaged persons on a direct basis. In this regard, whether social organisations profit through structural support given by the fan club members, for example, or their work is carried out directly by those people in such organisations, is insignificant", explained Marco Rühmann, Foundation Manager of "leuchte auf".
All BVB fan clubs have until the 30.11.2017 to submit a project proposal to "leuchte auf". The following should be included:
• Information about the contents of the planned social project and the required funding amount.
• Which charitable organisation is to be supported? (e.g. foundation, club, charitable limited company, etc.)
• How many fan club members will participate in its implementation?
• Why should the BVB Foundation support this project?
