Unsurprisingly, the prevailing feeling among the players and coaches at BVB after the 2-2 draw in Frankfurt was one of disappointment. Nuri Sahin and Maximilian Philipp both agreed you simply cannot blow a two-goal lead. Speaking to sky, Peter Bosz said: "The deciding factor for me was that we didn't score a third." Here we bring you the reactions.

Peter Bosz: "We should've put the game to bed earlier. We had more than enough chances to go 3-0 or 3-1 up, but unfortunately we didn't take them. I used my substitutions to bolster the defence, because Frankfurt looked extremely strong going forward at that point. That's why I brought off a technical player in Julian Weigl and replaced him with a defender. The deciding factor for me was that we didn't score a third goal. You can't hand the opponent a way back in in a game like that."

Nuri Sahin: "That simply cannot be allowed to happen. When you're leading 2-0, you can't let the game continue as openly as that. After scoring my goal, I knew we would get chances to score a second. We managed that. Then we gave away an unfortunate penalty and the rest simply cannot be allowed to happen. We're a team. Roman Bürki has had a bit of a difficult patch recently, so that's why I ran over to him after I scored. I just wanted to show him that we all stick together."

Maximilian Philipp: "We went to sleep after scoring the second. We simply cannot allow that to happen." (djg)
