Christian Pulisic popped up with an 89th-minute goal to seal the win over TSG Hoffenheim. "We've had a few difficult weeks. Now we've won twice in the space of two games. That gives us a lot of self-confidence," the youngster said in an interview with BVBtotal!.

Christian, a really dramatic game at the end there in front of your own fans. How relieved did you feel when the ball went in?
"It was a super feeling. We fought until the end. It's always a very nice feeling to score a goal in front of the South Stand."

A great experience for you personally too. You finished it brilliantly. What were you thinking at the time, or was it purely instinctive?
"Shinji played the ball through and I was slightly too close to the goalkeeper, so I had to take a touch to carry it past him. The rest was easy. It's a great feeling."

The goal was a reward not only for yourself, but for the entire team too…
"We've had a few difficult weeks. Now we've won twice in the space of two games. That gives us a lot of self-confidence. It's really good to feel the support of the fans again. It's always super to win at home." (djg)
