Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of setting an all-time record. They have scored at least one goal in each of their last 23 away matches in Hanover. If the Black & Yellows can find the net in Lower Saxony on Friday evening, they will set a new Bundesliga record.

  • Borussia Dortmund have not failed to score in Hanover in their last 23 games. There has never been a longer goalscoring run in Bundesliga history, although Bayer Leverkusen are joint record-holders, having netted at least once on each of their 23 visits to Bremen between 1991 and 2012.
  • The last three fixtures between H96 and BVB in Hanover have produced 17 goals, equating to almost six per match. None of the previous 52 Bundesliga meetings between the clubs have ended goalless.
  • Hannover 96 have only won one of their last six league matches stretching back into last season (a 3-1 win over Hertha Berlin on 5 May 2018).
  • The men from Lower Saxony have not kept a single clean sheet in their last 10 home games. The last time they did not concede on home turf was a 2-0 win against Hoffenheim on 10 December 2017.
  • Only against Bayern Munich have Hannover 96 suffered more Bundesliga home defeats (14) than they have against Borussia Dortmund (11).
  • Lucien Favre has won 10 of the 14 matches in which he has faced Hannover 96 as a coach (one draw, three defeats). He has not won more than six matches against any other club.
